Join River Oaks for our inaugural wine dinner of the New Year. Our upcoming wine dinner will begin at 6:30 PM next Thursday, January 26th. David Crane of Jarvis Wines will be our special guest presenter for the evening, as this Wine Dinner features Jarvis Wines exclusively. As always, be certain to make your reservations as soon as possible since seating is limited. Our special menu for the evening features Grilled Fresh Shrimp and Roasted Pancetta Wrapped Duck Breast; see below for the complete menu. Chef Jose to Judge COCHON 555 Memphis
Cochon 555 – five chefs, five pigs, five winemakers – is a one-of-a-kind traveling culinary competition and tasting event to promote sustainable farming of heritage breed pigs. The event challenges five local chefs to prepare a menu created from heritage breed pigs, nose-to-tail, for an audience of pork-loving epicureans. This is the first time C555 has visited Memphis and the Memphis event will be held at The Columns at Commerce Square. Our own Chef Jose has been selected to participate as a competition judge. At the end of the night, attendees and local judges, including Jose, will select the Prince or Princess of Porc. The winning chef will compete against other regional winners at the finale Grand Cochon event at the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, June 17, 2012.
